Card Stock Papers

Press Printed Greeting Cards are not photographs, but are produced on state of the art digital printing presses. The HP presses use real liquid ink, not toner like a color copier as some other printers use, to give our press products the look and feel of a very high quality printed piece.

Press printed card stock cards are available in three papers. The standard paper is a slightly gloss smooth cover stock. The linen paper has a slightly textured look and feel. Additionally there is a pearl paper, which has a metallic like sheen.

Smooth Semi Gloss - 10 pt / .23g

The smooth semi gloss paper is slightly gloss cover stock and is the lightest weight, but still has a substantial feel and is thicker than photographic paper. The semi gloss card sock can be finished with a UV coating. UV Coating gives you a high gloss surface on the front or both sides of your card. UV Coating makes the surface difficult to write on, so I do not suggest getting coating on the inside of your folded cards.

Linen Paper - Paper Thickness .28g

The linen paper is a beautiful textured paper. You can feel and see the vertical and horizontal lines running through the paper. UV coating is NOT available for the linen paper.

Watercolor Paper - Paper Thickness .28g

Another beautiful textured paper. Ripples run through this paper like ripples on a stream; thus the watercolor name. The paper is textured, but still very easy to write on. UV coating is NOT available for watercolor paper.

Pearl Paper - Paper Thickness .35g

The pearl paper has a metallic like sheen. It is very difficult to show the sheen of the pearl paper in a picture. This image is magnified 300%. On the actual card metallic shimmer is also seen in the white background. Adding a shiny UV coating really brings out the shimmer and shine to this stunning paper. (Please note that whites may not print as a true white on pearl paper - whites turn into almost a silver color.)

Kodak Endura Photographic Paper Matte, Glossy and Metallic

The photo cards are printed on real photographic paper... just like real photos. They are produced in a professional lab.

The metallic paper uses a proprietary combination of film laminate layers that produce striking, three-dimensional, lasting images on an ultra-bright background. The metallic paper delivers a rich, distinctive metallic look that catches the eye.
