An example of how it all works!
Susan was 7 months pregnant
and while searching for birth announcements online she viewed my
website and decided that she loved the unique style of birth announcements
she viewed in my
gallery.
Susan decided that she wanted to purchase announcements from me.
(Please feel free to send me an email before placing your order
online. I normally am able to answer emails within a couple of
hours.)
She placed her
order online and also chose to pre-order her envelopes there, so
that she could have them all addressed and ready to go once baby
arrived. I contacted Susan shortly by email to confirm her order and I sent out her envelopes
with my next shipment.
About 6 weeks later Susan had
her baby. She sent me some high resolution photos via email to work
with for the announcements.
Here they are:
She also emailed me the baby's
birth information:
Baby's name: Lena Ava
Kinley *names
have been changed for privacy purposes*
Birth date: 12/19/2005
Time: 8:25 pm
Weight: 7 lbs 1 oz
Length: 19 in
Parents Names: Susan and Brad
Sibling names: n/a
Anything else you would like to see or I should know:
You don't have to use all those photos. I am excited to see what
you come up with. I love the side view close up but it might be too
blurry and the one with the flower but I can't wait to see what you
do.
Within 72 hours I had sent her two proofs.

Proof 1 |
Proof 2 |

Susan viewed both proofs and decided that she wanted to move forward
with proof 2. She asked for a couple minor changes. I was asked to
change positions of a couple of the photos and she also wanted to
add the wording: All of God's grace on one sweet little face.
Here is the revised proof that
I sent:

This proof was
approved by Susan for printing. |

I had the announcements
printed and they were shipped the following Wednesday. Susan
received them within 3 business days of mailing and just loved them.
Susan mailed them out to all her family and friends. She immediately
received phone calls to congratulate her on the birth of her new
daughter and to say how unique and beautiful the announcements were!
